4F-PVP (4'-Fluoro-α-pyrrolidinopentiophenone; 4-Fluoro-α-PVP)is a synthetic substituted cathinone type stimulant. Chemically, it is a ketone analogue of Prolitane, and very similar to Pyrovalerone in many respects. Like those compounds, 4F-PVP is a reuptake inhibitor of both norepinephrine and dopamine.
4F-PVP has formal name: 1-(4-Fluorophenyl)-2-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)pentan-1-one. The chemical formula for 4F-PVP is C15H20FNO with a molecular weight of 249.329
4F-PVP is a psychostimulant. 4F-PVP just like a-PVP is a legal replacement of MDPV. Its pharmacology is closes to theat of MDPV, with IC50 values of 14.2 nM for norepinephrine and 12.8 nM for dopamine.
The toxicity and long-term health effects of recreational 4F-PVP use do not seem to have been studied in any scientific context and the exact toxic dosage is unknown.
